2010 Our Old Vines Field Blend is sourced from ancient vineyards in Contra Costa County and is a blend of 26% Zinfandel, 20% Carignane, 25% Petite Sirah, 25% Mataro, 3% Alicante Bouschet, and 1% Black Malvoisie. All the grapes in this blend come from vineyard blocks with extremely sandy soils called Delhi Sandy Loam. Our Field Blend is a full-bodied, dark fruit driven wine that should evolve gracefully for many years to come.
